COMPARATIVE STUDY OF THE INTONATION PATTERNS OF THE ENGLISH, UZBEK AND RUSSIAN LANGUAGES

Abstract

This article deals with the problems of intonation in English, Uzbek and Russian languages. It gives a detailed analysis of the intonation patterns in the affirmative, interrogative and imperative sentences, singles out the similar and differentiating points in the languages compared.
