WAYS TO INCREASE THE EFFICIENCY OF DOMESTIC TOURISM

Abstract

This article explores strategies to enhance the efficiency of domestic tourism in Uzbekistan, focusing on infrastructure development, awareness promotion, service quality improvement, affordable travel packages, and local festivals. It emphasizes that boosting domestic tourism can drive economic growth and strengthen cultural appreciation among locals. Future trends, such as sustainable tourism, are analyzed with specific examples, including revenue from Jizzakh homestays and visitor numbers to Ugam-Chatkal eco-tours.
