Abstract

The article deals with the special aspects of the development of guideinterpreter professional personality under the influence of two types of professional activity as a guide and an interpreter. The author characterizes the role of excursion discourse in tourism and activity of a guide-interpreter as a professional personality. The author also describes the importance of a choice of adequate strategies by conducting excursions for foreign tourists.
