The Aesthetic Character of a Hotel There is a significant role for etiquette in the aesthetic character of a hotel. Etiquette is neither design, nor decoration. It is not limited to the building that is disguised. Etiquette also refers to how employees interact with each other and with guests. When your employees adhere to the proper etiquette, service will flow in a more orderly manner and guests may feel more comfortable during their stay. Proper employee etiquette can also create a positive image for the hotel. Therefore, the aesthetics of hotel are defined in this study as a blend of physical and human aspects. In terms of managing hotels, this implies that when training employees on how to provide services, the focus should include the use of appropriate etiquette in providing these services. The results of the present research indicate that frequent practice of eye contact, smiling and greeting will help to increase guest satisfaction with their stay, improve the quality of service provided to guests and ultimately lead to long-term success for the hotel.
